Children Orthodontics San Juan Capistrano

Why does San Juan Capistrano Orthodontics treatment for my child starts at a small age?

Any alignment issue is easily corrected when children are at a young age which is known as phase one in their teeth development. Our dentist and orthodontist can help you prepare your child’s teeth for their permanent teeth when they come in.

To ensure your child’s teeth grow in properly, you want them to grow as straight as possible. The more aligned they are, the less likely will they begin to get crooked after their braces are taken off.

At stage 2 of their teeth’s development phase, which is between 12-14 years old, braces will be going to help their teeth on their final alignment and fixing the under/overbite. These braces will have to last between 1-2 years and will not be placed until their permanent teeth have settled in.

You can have your child avoid tooth extractions and any jaw surgery by splitting their braces treatment into two phases making a great difference to their smile and teeth.

Testimonials

★★★★★ In my opinion, Teddy Bear Dental is one of the best Dentist Practices in San Juan Capistrano. Dr. Teddy Kim and his staff are the best. They treat you like family and have a genuine interest in your wellbeing. I used to hate going to the dentist because of feeling like I was just another patient. All of which, went away when I scheduled my first appointment with Dr. Kim.

★★★★★ I came to Teddy Bear Dental fleeing from my previous dentist, and it was the best decision. Dr. Kim was very professional and caring and listened to my concerns that were not taken into account at my previous doctor. The office was very clean and orderly and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and you can tell they take not only dental hygiene seriously but cleanliness in general as a big priority.
