at Teddy Bear Dental Dentist San Juan Capistrano

Children’s first teeth begin forming inside the womb but do not break through the gum line until after birth.

Their teeth begin to come out when they are about four months old and dependent on the child, their full set of baby teeth can be fully erupted by the age of three.

This is a predicted time span of when baby teeth will come out:

  • Six to Twelve months - Central incisors
  • Nine to Sixteen months – lateral incisors
  • Sixteen to twenty three months – molars
  • Twenty two to twenty four months – second molars

Roughly around six years old, a child’s baby teeth begin to set up for their replacement teeth which starts generally with the molars first. Permanent teeth haven’t fully settled in until the the person is about twenty one years old.

Testimonials

★★★★★ In my opinion, Teddy Bear Dental is one of the best Dentist Practices in San Juan Capistrano. Dr. Teddy Kim and his staff are the best. They treat you like family and have a genuine interest in your wellbeing. I used to hate going to the dentist because of feeling like I was just another patient. All of which, went away when I scheduled my first appointment with Dr. Kim.

★★★★★ I came to Teddy Bear Dental fleeing from my previous dentist, and it was the best decision. Dr. Kim was very professional and caring and listened to my concerns that were not taken into account at my previous doctor. The office was very clean and orderly and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and you can tell they take not only dental hygiene seriously but cleanliness in general as a big priority.
